MICHAEL DEAN HALL

Michael Dean Hall of Lebanon, was born October 1, 1951, in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Donald D. Hall and Juanita Winfrey. He passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 in Mercy Hospital in Lebanon. At the time of his passing he was seventy-two years and one day of age.

He grew up in the Kansas City, Kansas area and graduated from Wyandotte High School. He continued his education at Kansas University where he was a proud Jayhawk. He was a realtor for a few years before becoming a firefighter, a career he excelled at for twenty-one years. He was a very dedicated firefighter and served as Captain for a department in Kansas City, Kansas. Following his time as a firefighter, he served as a loan officer for Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank for a few years.

On October 7, 2004, Michael was united in marriage to Susan Troutman. Together they shared nearly nineteen years of happiness and stood by each other during the difficult times.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; two daughters, Kellie C. Hall-Ruiz and husband David of Independence, Missouri and Lindsay Delcour of Phillipsburg, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Abigail, Anthony, Alexia, David, Jr., Amelia, Cash, Cody; his mother-in-law, Kay Troutman of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Marsha Gardner of Lake Ozark, Missouri; and other relatives and friends.

Michael’s favorite pastime was trout fishing and hunting in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. He enjoyed boating and being in the water. Traveling was also something Michael looked forward to doing, but most of all, he loved his family. He looked forward to being with his grandchildren and family gatherings.

Michael was a hard worker and a loving and caring man. His legacy will live on through his family for years to come.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Mount Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum.

A memorial to the Lebanon Fire Department full fire tribute. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
