Renate Phillips (formerly Ward, nee Stroffregen), 72, formerly of Waynesville, died July 24, 2023, in the Center Point Hospital in Indpendence.
She is survived by her son, Huston Ward (Susan); mother, Elfriede Sroffregen; three siblings, Hans Sroffregen (Mary), Dottie Chaffin (Jim), and Michael Stoffregen (Diana); nieces: Margaret Kincaid (Kris), Sarah Heine (Jeff), and Savannah Malcolm (Nolan); four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, in the Rock of Ages Church located at 15300 Texas Road in St. Robert. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, in honor of Renate, please consider donating to a local animal rescue service, Humane Society, or library.
