Rick Dean “Lil’ Rick’’ Weatherd, 74, of Buffalo was born Feb. 23, 1949, in King City to Elmo and Maxine Weatherd and died Monday, Aug. 21, 2023. He is survived by one brother, Terry Weatherd and wife Joan of St. Joseph; sister, Sue Snow of Harrison, Ark.; children, Dena Weatherd and partner Steve Bosley of Brimingham, Mo.; Master Sergeant Danon Weatherd and wife Rachel of Fort Bragg, N.C.; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with military honors following the visitation.
