Ruby Olive “Snookie’’ (Hefner) Johnson, 97, of Urbana, formerly of Hartville, was born July 18, 1926 to Marshall Fredrick and Ruby Olive (Krause) Hefner and died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023, in Hermitage. She is survived by her son, Johnnie Lee Johnson and his wife Patty, and three grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Hartville. Burial will be in Little Creek Cemetery near Hartville. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m.-1:45 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
