Stephen Ray Piercy, 56, of Lebanon, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, in Lebanon.

He was born April 1, 1967, in Lebanon, to Billy Ray and Della Fay Reid Piercy.

On Oct. 20, 1990, he was united in marriage to Sherre Shannon Foell.

Those preceding him in death include an infant son, Cheston Dean Piercy; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Lenora Piercy; and maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Sylvia Reid.

Stephen was a hard worker and took great pride in providing for his family. Most recently he was employed with Caravan Trailer as a forklift operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and tending to the needs of the farm. He was a devoted family man and dedicated Christian servant. He was a hero to his children and the love of Sherre’s life.

Stephen was saved as a young boy, at the age of six, while at VBS at Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Sherre Shannon Piercy; children, Gavin Ray Piercy and Ashtan Shannon Piercy, all of Lebanon; his parents, Billy and Della Fay Piercy of Lebanon; one sister, Melissa Smith and her husband Matt of Lebanon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donavon Foell and his wife Margaret, Rocky Foell and his wife Carol and Yancy Foell and his wife Tammy, all of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Stephen Ray Piercy will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Bruce Doublin officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
