Tommy E. Boston

Tommy E. Boston, 90, of Lebanon, died Friday, June 14, 2024, in Lebanon.

He was born April 8, 1934, in Laclede County, Mo. to Buster and Jane Stewart Boston.

On Oct. 26, 1956, he was united in marriage to Eleanor Ann Boyden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ann, who passed away on Jan. 9, 2015; by a brother, Leroy Boston and a sister, Betty Hicks.

Tommy attended school in Lebanon. He soon entered the United States Army and served his country for two years, before being honorably discharged. He then returned to Lebanon to begin a career at Detroit Tool, as a machinist. His employment with Detroit Tool was forty-eight years, and included many different positions.

He is survived by his sons, Rick Boston and his wife Randa and Jeff Boston and his wife Gay, all of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, Jacob Boston (Cayla), Brandon Boston (Melissa), Seth Boston, Ashley Green (Steven), Elizabeth McMullen (Adam), Rebekah Boston and Victoria Smith (Jeremy); eighteen great grandchildren; his brother, J.L. Boston and his wife Kaye of Lebanon; other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Andy Rains officiating. Burial was in Mount Rose Memorial Park Cemetery.
