Virginia Lorraine Young, 92, of Marshfield, formerly of Niangua, was born Nov. 21, 1930, in Chicago, Ill. to Charles R. and Anna F. (Johnson) Seasholtz and died Friday, Aug. 25, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Edith Ann Dyer; her son, William Day Young and wife Linda Sue; seven grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Seasholtz, and sister, Sharon Grooms. Funeral services for Virginia Young were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield under the direction of Day Funeral Home of Marshfield.
