WARREN PEMBERTON

Warren Pemberton, 85, of Lebanon, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, in Lebanon.

He was born April 4, 1938, in Allenton, Mo. to Arley and Nellie Wright Pemberton.

On Sept. 22, 1961, he was united in marriage to Helen Louise Williams.

Those preceding Warren in death include his parents; his wife Helen on Dec. 18, 2015; siblings, Gail, Raymond, John, Helen, Cecil, Wayne and one sister in infancy.

Warren spent his childhood in the Richland Community. He worked at Mid-Am Dairy for nearly 30 years, where he ran the pasteurizer. He was a lifetime farmer and most recently drove a school bus. He enjoyed hunting, cutting wood and watching basketball. He also enjoyed tending to his cattle and was a Farmall Tractor enthusiast. However, his most treasured moments were those spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were his pride and joy.

He was a lifetime member of South 5 Church of Christ, where he also served as an Elder for over 30 years.

Warren is survived by two children, David Pemberton and his wife Missy of Lebanon and Lisa Carr and her husband Scott, all of Lebanon; one sister, Hazel Rawlins of Bentonville, Ark.; grandchildren, Hillary Cherry and her husband Josh, Kelsey Hancock and her husband Grant, Lindsay Arnold and her husband Jon, Ashleigh Carr, Brendan Carr and his wife Kara, Cody Carr and Alyssa Carr; great-grandchildren, Ruth, Maren and J.B.; close friend Freda Barr; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Warren Pemberton were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, at South Hwy. 5 Church of Christ with Ministers Josh Ortiz and Brendan Carr officiating. Burial was in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
