William “Bill’’ Keith McConnell, 85, of Mansfield, was born Oct. 28, 1938, in Joplin to William Edward and Lela Irene (Canada) McConnell and died Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
He is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Steve) Malone of Stockton and Becky McConnell of Mansfield; four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Sievert and Pat Fry, both of Springfield.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2024, in the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mansfield. Burial was at 1 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2024, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.
In remembrance of Bill’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to either of his favorite charities: The Wright County Children’s Home in Norwood or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
