Barbara Ann Gunderson, 70, of Lebanon, died Monday, April 29, 2019, in Lebanon.
She was born Dec. 22, 1948, in Buffalo, New York to Thomas and Beatrice Schembri.
On Nov. 4, 1978, she was united in marriage to Rodney Clayton Gunderson Sr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Beantrice Schembri.
Barbara Ann worked many years with Alameda County Social Services in Oakland, Calif., and then retired as a school bus aide in McKinney, Texas. After retirement moved to Lebanon to be near family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Rodney Clayton Gunderson Sr., of 40 years; her children, Jennifer Howard and husband Otis, of Allen, Texas; son Billy Gunderson and wife Amanda, of Lebanon and Rodney Gunderson Jr. and wife Johanna, of Layton, Utah; also two special sisters, Jeanne Morris and Betty Ann Morris; a brother, Thomas Schembri, eleven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established and contributions can be made through the Holden Funeral Home, 8058 State Highway 14 East, Sparta, Mo. 65753.
A private Celebration of Life will be with friends and family.
