Ernest L. Strickland, 67, of Kansas City, Mo. died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at North Kansas City Hospital.
He is survived by his partner, Debbie Lockwood of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Wendy Harrison of Alvarado, Texas, Anna Crump of Lee’s Summit, Heather Strickland of Lee’s Summit and Jessica Huyauban of Olathe, Kan.; his stepdaughters, Nicole Lockwood and Amanda Lockwood, both of Kansas City, Mo.; a number of grandchildren; three brothers, Ronald Strickland and his wife Paula of Herrington, Kan., Denzil Strickland and his wife Nerea of Wapello, Iowa, and Reese Strickland and his wife Lynda of Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Angel Akers of Mediapolis, Iowa.
Services will be private under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
